Ed Westwick (born June 27, 1987 in Hammersmith, London) is a British actor and musician best known for his breakout role as Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl (2007–2012), which earned him Teen Choice Awards and broad international acclaim (). He made his film debut in Children of Men (2006) and has since appeared in Breaking and Entering, Son of Rambow, Chalet Girl, J. Edgar, Romeo & Juliet, Me You Madness, and more  . Recently, he married actress Amy Jackson in August 2024 and welcomed their first child in March 2025. He remains active in both acting and music, fronting the indie band The Filthy Youth, and continues to support charitable causes like wildlife conservation  .
