Hiroaki Hirata (平田 広明; born August 7, 1963 in Tokyo) is a celebrated Japanese voice actor, actor, and narrator, and the founder of Hirata Production Japan. Best known as the Japanese voice of Sanji in One Piece since 1999, he has also brought to life beloved characters like Sha Gojyo (Saiyuki), Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (Tiger & Bunny), Klein (Sword Art Online), Vergil (Devil May Cry), Mutta Nanba (Space Brothers), and Leomon (Digimon Adventure) (). His versatile performances earned him the Seiyu Award for Best Lead Actor (2012) and a Tokyo Anime Award  .
