Isaac Hempstead Wright (born April 9, 1999) is a British actor celebrated for his portrayal of Bran Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones (2011–2019), a role that earned him ensemble Screen Actors Guild nominations . Beyond Westeros, he has appeared in feature films like The Awakening (2011) and lent his voice to “Eggs” in the animated film The Boxtrolls (2014)  . An academic at heart, Isaac pursued neuroscience studies at the University of Birmingham and authored research on oculomotor changes in neurological disease  .
