Tom Glynn‑Carney (born 7 February 1995 in Salford, Greater Manchester) is an acclaimed English actor and singer. He began his career with stage roles (notably in The Ferryman, winning both an Evening Standard Emerging Talent Award and a Drama Desk Award) and made his cinematic debut in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk (2017). Internationally recognized for portraying King Aegon II Targaryen in HBO’s House of the Dragon (2022–present), he further displayed his acting range in The King, Tolkien, and the BBC’s SAS: Rogue Heroes. A talented performer, he is also the lead vocalist in the indie band Sleep Walking Animals .
